I paint in oil or acrylic on pre-stretched canvas. My paintings are characterized by the use of a  vibrant, bright color composition with strong shapes, line work and some elements of perspective. My work is representational and narrative. The style is illustrative and expressive. I use my personal photographs as references to depict a happy moment that I universalize for the viewer.

Collectors often comment that they recognize that specific moment or feeling in their own life. They have described my paintings as clean, bright, joyful, simplified scenes that evoke an immediacy of memory.

Some artists that have influenced my style are: Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, Edward Hopper, Fairfield Porter, Alice Neel, Mary Cassatt.

Recently my work highlights the many beautiful places around South Florida and specifically Key Biscayne.
